Tentacular Ecologies. Interspecies Co-Creation in the Chthulucene: A Set of Transmedia Installations is a practice-based Ph.D. project that explores human and non-human entanglements and collaborations, through an experimental artistic practice at the intersection of Art, Science, and Technology, using hybrid media. We investigate the idea of interstitial “third” spaces as potential interfaces, i.e., emerging extended realities, capable of fostering significant ecological relationships between marginalized biological entities, architecture, and humans. Our practice is informed by a theoretical post-anthropocentric framework, which offers conceptual tools to further develop our creative processes such as tentacular, kinship, and Chthulucene.
